To help launch their Devil's Cut Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Jim Bean Distillery worked together with Kid Rock on a promotion that asked adults to Tweet messages to which Rock would reply via video-taped snippets featured on their website. Firefly Studios was called in to create still images that would be used to promote the campaign on other social media platforms.
The challenge for us was that we would not be alloted exclusive shooting time with Kid Rock and instead would have to shoot our stills while the video crew was recording their content. No problem. We utilized our sound-proof housing that completely silences the sounds of our camera. It made for spontaneous, excellent images, a happy client, and most of all... a very relieved video crew!
